| How to get to the Radiation Center? From the West: East on PA turnpike. Exit at the Fort Washington Exit 25 and follow Route 309 North. You will pass Mongomery Mall on the left and then you will come to a light- go right on Route 202 North. Follow Route 202 North for several miles. You will go down a hill with a light at the bottom and a car wash on the left. Go straight through the light and over a small bridge. On the right you will see the Roasted Pepper Restaurant. The Radiation Center is the next building. Turn right into our parking lot. From the East: West on PA turnpike. Exit at Willow Grove and take Route 611 North to County Line Road at the end of Willow Grove Naval Base. Turn left and go five to six miles and make a right onto Route 152. At the dead end make a right, go over a small bridge. On the right you will see the Roasted Pepper Restaurant. The Radiation Center is the next building. Turn right into our parking lot. |
Directions for your pet:
Your Pet must be treated on an empty stomach. Your pet must have nothing to eat from 12:00 midnight the night before treatment unless advised differently by our staff! A little water is allowed.
Things to bring:
1. Any films that were taken of your pet (MRI or X-rays).
2. Biopsy reports, recent blood results or written results of any tests your pet has had done.

4. If your pet has never been to one of our clinics, please print and fill out of our canine questionnaire and bring it along to your first visit. If you have any questions regarding filling out the questionnaire, please email our research lab for help (vosrcresearch@hotmail.com). 5. If your pet is a Golden Retriever, please fill out the above canine questionnaire and bring along any information you may have about your pet's breeding (this includes registration information and pedigree). We will ask to collect a blood sample to include in our study of golden retrievers with cancer. For more information, please visit our page on research being conducted at VOSRC.
Cost of Treatment:
An estimate of the cost of radiation will be given to you depending on the tumor type, site and treatment protocol. The cost includes radiation planning/simulation, anesthesia and radiation treatments. If the protocol changes to involve additional radiation treatments, there may be additional charges. You will be advised of such charges in advance.
All mediations and/or alternate treatments, such as chemotherapy for radio-sensitization are to be paid for the day they are received. These are not included in the cost of radiation. Please see the receptionist to make payment on that day!
