Welcome to Veterinary Oncology Services
Welcome to Veterinary Oncology Services and Research Center Serving the Mid-Atlantic Region

Where others can only hope, we offer real help. The first privately owned veterinary cancer hospital in the country with a research facility, Veterinary Oncology Services and Research Center (VOSRC) was created to make sure its patients receive the most advanced, leading-edge cancer treatments. We provide consultations as well as personalized recommendations and treatment for all types of pet cancer.

Established in 1990 by Dr. K. Ann Jeglum, V.M.D., a Charter Member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, VOSRC is a progressive and dynamic organization that is committed to the well-being of its patients and the peace of mind of its clients. Both of our facilities, Veterinary Oncology Services and Research Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania and Veterinary Oncology Services’ Radiation Center in Chalfont, Pennsylvania offer full oncological care for your pets in the Mid-Atlantic and Philadelphia, PA area.

Our West Chester center offers multimodality cancer treatment including surgery chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and molecular approaches. Additionally, alternative therapeutic options including metronomic therapy are available. The Chalfont facility is a full-service companion animal radiation therapy center equipped with a 6 MV linear accelerator with photon and electron energies. New case consultations and chemotherapy appointments also are available. Radiation planning using MRI and CT scans is done by a board-certified veterinary oncologist. As is done in human cancer centers, a board-certified radiation therapist administers all radiation treatments.

As the Mid-Atlantic region’s only private veterinary hospital devoted solely to cancer treatment, research and prevention, VOSRC strives to provide our clients and patients with the highest quality and most compassionate oncology services.
